Michael R. Dunn of COMMERCE CRG Earns Society of Industrial and Office Realtor® Designation

LAS VEGAS – The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS ® (SIOR) Nevada Chapter announced today that Michael R. Dunn of Commerce CRG has been awarded SIOR designation.

Mr. Dunn, Senior Director of Commerce CRG’s office division has been affiliated with Commerce CRG Cushman & Wakefield since 2004. Commerce CRG is an independently owned alliance member of Cushman and Wakefield, the largest privately owned Commercial Real Estate operation in the United States. With over 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Dunn prior to entering the commercial brokerage has represented large developers in the leasing, marketing, and development of more than 3.5 million square feet of office and industrial space.

During Mr. Dunn’s career, both in Nevada, and in Dallas Texas, he has consummated numerous transactions with large international financial institutions, major law firms, title companies, secondary education schools, major engineering firms, large call centers, defense contactors and entertainment companies. He has held the highly respected CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation since 1992. Mr. Dunn served as the 2006 President of the Commercial Alliance of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Utah.

To receive the SIOR designation, commercial real estate practitioners must meet rigorous qualifications, which include a minimum of five years of documented brokerage experience, as well as reaching attainment levels for gross fee income, number of transactions, demonstrated high ethical standards of practice, on-going educational attainment, and peer recommendations.

Due to the stringent requirements in attaining the SIOR designation, only five percent of industrial and office brokers in the United States obtain this level of professionalism. Dunn noted that it’s an honor and a privilege to be affiliated with such a fine organization as SIOR and its accomplished membership.

The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® is an association consisting of 3,100 professionals with over 800 offices in 480 cities and represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful real estate brokerage specialists. By holding the SIOR designation, members of the Society demonstrate the highest level of production, knowledge, and ethics in the commercial real estate industry.

Real estate professionals who hold the SIOR designation are recognized by corporate real estate executives, commercial real estate brokers and agents, lenders, and other real estate professionals as the most experienced and capable practitioners in any market. All members of SIOR are expected to adhere to the Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice.
